The Melrose Unitarian Universalist Church is located at 70 West Emerson Street. We are across from the Melrose Public Library, near the corner of Main Street and West Emerson.
Melrose is easily accessible from I-93 via exit 34 or exit 35. From Route 1, you can take either the Lynn Fells Parkway exit or the Essex Street/Melrose exit.
Commuter Rail: Take the Haverhill/Reading Line to the Cedar Park Station which is located on W. Emerson Street. The Church is a short walk east of the station.
MBTA: Take Orange Line to Oak Grove station, where Bus #136/137 runs on a regular schedule (Sundays: approximately once per hour), and taxi service is available.
We have a small parking lot on the side of the church for about 7 cars. We have accessible parking spots there, and like to keep this lot available for our seniors and anyone needing assistance. There is an accessible ramp located here.
During Sunday Worship Service, parking is available in the Melrose Public Library parking lot, located across the street from the church. In addition, plenty of street parking is available in front of the church and on the side streets around the church. Please pay attention to parking signs! While there is no time-limit on weekends, there are time-limits on weekdays, and parking may only be on one-side of a street. For large events such as weddings, additional parking is available in the municipal lot behind Memorial Hall, a block southeast of the church (access via Main street – see Google map above).
See www.cityofmelrose.org for “Parking Regulations”.
