Say “Hello!” to our new Church Administrator, Felicia Ryan! (send an email to our Church Administrator)
Felicia Ryan has a BA from Boston College and an MA in Communications from Emerson. She is a personal coach, mediator, poet and lover of pink hair. She has an operations background with various organizations. She is on the Board of Directors for UMA and a member of the Malden Writer’s Collaborative. She lives nearby with her husband and her stepdaughter, and her brindle greyhound Arnie, and she’s proud to show you pictures of them! Welcome, Felicia!!
At the same time, we are bidding “Farewell” to our former Church Administrator, Therese Kay, as she has moved out of the area into her new home! Thanks for EVERYTHING, Therese, including your dedication to us throughout the pandemic, and your expertise, warmth and good humor. Enjoy your home!
Tom Hojnacki (send an email to our Music Director)
We feel very fortunate to have Tom with us!
Katie Campbell (send an email to our Director of Religious Education)
Katie Campbell comes to us with over fifteen years of experience working with children and youth in various settings. She is currently working with (and will continue to work with) the First Parish in Lexington (UU) as the Youth Program Coordinator. Katie has office hours at MUUC most Tuesday afternoons during the church year, and at other times by appointment.
She is excited about this congregation and all it’s potential!
Katie Laliwala (Nursery Caregiver – send emails through our Director of Religious Education)
Kathie is a native New Yorker who relocated to Melrose seven years ago to help take care of her granddaughter, Viva. Kathie enjoys knitting, crocheting, watching Jeopardy! and spending time with family and friends. Please welcome Kathie when you see her and consider joining a group of volunteers who will rotate through the nursery during Worship and serve as the second adult needed each week to help Kathie create a consistently warm and welcoming experience for our youngest kids and their parents!
Thomas O’Donnell (Church Sexton – send emails through our Church Administrator)
If you spend any time at all at MUUC, you’re bound to see Tom, a friendly guy who sees to it that the church is spic-and-span, running like clockwork, and open for business.
Thanks for all you do, Tom! See you around!
