Rhea Brown-Bright, MDiv. (they/them), is our Director of Lifespan Religious Education. Rhea is originally from the great state of Oklahoma and considers themselves a proud Okie. They are a lifelong UU who moved here to pursue their Master of Divinity. They have a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of Oklahoma and their Master of Divinity from Boston University School of Theology. They live happily with their wife and one cat (Curtis), are part of a trivia team, has a passion for religious education and the way faith formation impacts our every day lives, and loves thinking about the worlds we can build together. Felicia Ryan (she series) is our fabulous Church Administrator (email her). She has a BA from Boston College and an MA in Communications from Emerson. Felicia is a fundraising consultant, poet and lover of pink hair. She has a project management background with various non profits. Being a member of the Malden Writer’s Collaborative keeps her writing. She brags proudly about her work with the Board of Directors for the Malden Chamber of Commerce and lives in Malden.
Tom Hojnacki (he series) (pronounced Hoy-Not-ski) is our Music Director (send an email to Tom). Tom is a retired teacher and administrator from Berklee College of Music. Tom is an experienced pianist, singer, choir member, music director, and side musician. Read Tom’s bio here.
Kathie is a native New Yorker who relocated to Melrose seven years ago to help take care of her granddaughter, Viva. Kathie enjoys knitting, crocheting, watching Jeopardy! and spending time with family and friends. Please welcome Kathie when you see her and consider joining a group of volunteers who will rotate through the nursery during Worship and serve as the second adult needed each week to help Kathie create a consistently warm and welcoming experience for our youngest kids and their parents!
