    Environmental Justice Film: “Divide In Concord”, Sat. June 1, 2019 at 7:00 pm

    —"Divide in Concord" is the entertaining tale of the battle of banning bottled water in small town America. A bylaw to ban the sale of single-serve plastic bottles is presented at a Town Meeting. If enacted, the law would be the first of its kind in the world. But all are not in agreement.

    —Tens of thousands of activists traveled to North Dakota from all over the world to take a stand during a historic native-led peaceful resistance at the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation, opposing construction of the 3.7 billion dollar Dakota Access Pipeline. This event is free and open to the public.

    —Meet an itinerant minister, turned itinerant corpse during a Tour of Mt. Auburn Cemetery. We will carpool at 9:15 am from the church. Tour starts at 10 am. $5 per person/$15 max per family.     Sunday, September 9, 2018: MUUC at the Melrose Victorian Fair

    —The Victorian Fair is “a joyful celebration of community” including Melrose residents, local organizations and merchants. MUUC had an informational table at the fair, and over 120 people stopped by and visited. Our "Church Ambassadors" engaged in conversations, answered questions, and gave out pamphlets (and sweets!).
