The Melrose Alliance Against Violence is hosting two events in March, 2019.
First is a “White Ribbon Day“. During a ceremony at City Hall, in addition to speakers and a proclamation, the City of Melrose will make a pledge of non-violence and raise a White Ribbon flag.
Thursday, March 7, starting at 8:00 a.m. in the City Hall Aldermanic Chambers.
Next is a MAAV Coffee House, “Voices Against Violence“. Held at Temple Beth Shalom, this coffee house is being organized by Melrose High School students.
Sunday, March 10, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Temple Beth Shalom at 21 East Foster Street.
