Men4MAAV, part of the Melrose Alliance Against Violence, invites you to “Raising Boys to Men,” on Tuesday, January 26th beginning at 7:00 pm. Raising Boys to Men.
This virtual, moderated discussion is designed to support parents in raising healthy young men. The hour-long panel discussion, followed by a 30-minute question and answer session, will focus specifically on parents’ roles in supporting the growth and development of our boys so that they can become responsible, respectful, and successful men. Our panelists will offer tips and strategies for parents, advice for tough conversations, share examples of how to model healthy behaviors, and provide guidance for dealing with difficult situations.
To register, please fill out the Google form and the link to participate will be sent to all who register.
The panel will include local licensed clinical social worker, Sam Healey LISCW, Heidi Randall, Program Director from the organization Maine Men to Boys, and the Coordinator of the Children’s Trust and the Fatherhood Initiative, Michael Ramos. The conversation will be moderated by Craig Nordberg-Bohm, Consultant and Founder of the North American MenEngage Network.
While the event will be highlighting the important role of fathers, this event is free and open to all parents, guardians, and community members.
