On June 7, in our masks, with our homemade signs and our new Black Lives Matter Banner, we showed up in droves to demand justice for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and all those unlawfully killed by police. Along with thousands of others we lined both sides of the Fellsway for an hour. For 8 minutes, we knelt in silence, and then the church bells rang out. Our MUUC Anti-Racism Team will meet over the summer, to help plan our continued work and to help coordinate city-wide actions with the Melrose Human Rights Commission.
