Walden Woods Walk: Sunday, October 7th, 12:30 pm

On the Path with Thoreau

Join the MUUC Green Sanctuary Committee & Friends on Sunday October 7th to walk the elegant interpretive Thoreau’s Path on Brister Hill near Walden Pond with Whitney Retallic, Director of Education with the Walden Woods Project/Thoreau Institute.

The 2-hour walk begins at 1:30 PM at the Hapgood Wright Town Forest parking lot, across the street from the entrance to Concord-Carlisle High School, 500 Walden Street, Concord MA.

We will carpool from the MUUC parking lot, meeting at 12:30 PM. We will return at approximately 4:00 PM. There are no bathrooms at the site.

Group visits are rain or shine, unless it is unsafe to be outdoors at the time of the visit. We will be in touch with you a day or two ahead of your visit if forecasts look threatening. There are no bathrooms at the Hapgood Wright/Brister’s Hill site, so please highly encourage participants to go before they leave the home/church. More info at www.walden.org/
