Sunday, December 31, 2017: “Winter Walk in the Woods” 10:30 am

(pictured above are our MUUC Walkers on Jan 1, 2017!)

On Sunday, December 31, 2017, the Green Sanctuary Committee welcomes everyone to gather at 10:30 am to celebrate the end of the Old Year and beginning of the New Year and the gifts of our natural world by sharing in a “Winter Walk in the Woods”. We will meet at the church at 10:30 am and car pool to the Breakheart Reservation, where we will park in the lot adjacent to the Northeast Metro Regional Vocational School in Wakefield. After the walk, we will return back to MUUC where we will share a lunch of soup and bread. All are welcome.

If you have any questions about the walk, please send an email to Doug at “ddick [at] lda-architects [dot] com“, the chair of the Green Sanctuary Committee.

Current Conditions: Although our walk will be along the accessible and paved path that loops through the Breakheart Reservation, snow and icy conditions require caution. A forecast of cold temps may cause the walk to be cancelled, so contact Doug for any last-minute updates, and be sure to be on the lookout for church “Community” emails that Doug will send, if you are on the church community email list. The lunch, however, will go on as planned!
